AMINWORKS
Privacy notice
Last updated: 7 October 2026
AminWorks handles personal information for website enquiries, service delivery and limited B2B direct marketing. This notice explains what is used, why it is used, where it can come from and the choices available to you.
Who is responsible for your information?
Hassan Ahmed Amin, trading as AminWorks in the United Kingdom, is the controller responsible for the personal information described in this notice. For privacy questions, requests or objections, email hassan@aminworks.co.uk.
Information you give AminWorks
- Your name, business name and work email when you send an enquiry.
- Campaign or company context, approximate account count and the research attributes you ask AminWorks to check.
- Company lists, project instructions and other business materials you provide if work is agreed.
- Messages, scope discussions, invoices and other records needed to manage the business relationship.
Public-source research
The account-research service checks public sources for business and company information relevant to an agreed research question. Depending on the brief, sources can include official company websites, product documentation, pricing or security pages, careers pages, Companies House and other relevant public business sources.
The standard £75 diagnostic is designed around company-level attributes. If a public source includes a named business contact, that information can be personal data under UK GDPR even though it is publicly available. AminWorks does not treat public availability as removing data-protection obligations.
B2B direct marketing
For relevant UK corporate organisations, such as limited companies and LLPs, AminWorks may use limited public business-contact information to promote its account-research service where the applicable rules permit it. The information may include a contact's name, business role, employer, public work email or corporate contact route, company website, the public source used to check relevance, and the outreach or response status.
Sources can include an organisation's official website, public professional pages such as LinkedIn, Companies House and relevant public business directories. Public availability is not treated as consent. AminWorks does not use private-data scraping, sensitive personal information or tracking pixels for this outreach.
Where named business-contact information is personal data, the lawful basis considered for this limited corporate B2B marketing is legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR. The specific interest is promoting a relevant public-source account-research service to professional contacts and testing demand for that service. Before contact, AminWorks assesses whether the use is necessary and balanced against the person's rights and expectations. This basis is not automatic, and sole traders or other individual subscribers require a separate assessment.
Your right to object to marketing
You can object to direct marketing at any time, without giving a reason. Reply to the message or email hassan@aminworks.co.uk, and AminWorks will stop marketing to you. Every marketing message should identify Hassan/AminWorks, link to this notice and offer this simple opt-out.
Suppression records
If you opt out of marketing, AminWorks may retain a minimal suppression record, such as the relevant email address or domain and the fact of the opt-out, so the preference can be honoured and the same contact is not inadvertently approached again. A suppression record is not used to continue marketing.
Why information is used
Depending on the context, information is used to respond to enquiries, assess whether a research brief fits the service, take requested steps before a contract, perform agreed work, communicate about delivery, invoice and maintain appropriate business records. B2B prospecting is handled separately as described above.
Service providers
Vercel hosts this website and processes technical information needed to deliver and protect it, such as IP addresses and request details. The business mailbox uses Stackmail (20i) for email hosting and transmission; Google services are used to access email and maintain business research/outreach records. The enquiry form prepares a draft in your browser; it does not submit your answers to a form-relay service. Your enquiry reaches AminWorks when you send the email using your own email provider. AminWorks does not sell personal information to advertisers.
International transfers
These services can process information outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States. Google LLC states that its US data transfers are covered by the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, and that it uses standard contractual clauses where required. Vercel publishes Data Privacy Framework certification and describes standard contractual clauses with the UK Addendum as transfer safeguards. 20i describes UK and EEA storage, with safeguarded transfers where its service providers process data elsewhere, including the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or UK Addendum where applicable. See 20i’s processing and transfer terms, Google’s transfer framework and Vercel’s transfer information for their published arrangements, or email hassan@aminworks.co.uk to request further information or a copy of applicable safeguards.
Retention
Enquiries and unsuccessful prospecting records are reviewed and deleted or anonymised when no longer needed for their purpose, with a maximum review point of 12 months unless there is a good reason for longer retention. Client, invoice and transaction records may be retained longer where needed for accounting, tax, contractual or legal purposes. Suppression records may be kept for as long as reasonably needed to honour an opt-out.
Cookies and analytics
AminWorks does not currently use advertising cookies or third-party analytics on this website. If that changes, this notice and any required consent mechanism will be updated before those tools are used.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law can give you rights including access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and data portability. The right to object to direct marketing is specifically described above. To make a request, email hassan@aminworks.co.uk. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office if you believe your information has been handled improperly: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/.
Security
AminWorks takes reasonable steps to limit access to information and protect enquiry and project records. Do not send passwords, banking credentials, access tokens or other sensitive secrets through the public enquiry form.
